1.Introduction
In House Media Pty Ltd (ABN 16 692 979 203) operates the RealEdits mobile application. We are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
By using the Application, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Application immediately.
2.Information We Collect
Information you provide directly (stored locally on your device only):
- Agent profile — name, title, contact details, and photo
- Property details — addresses, listing types, and project titles
- Video and audio content you create within the Application
Automatically collected:
- Device storage — project data and settings stored locally via iOS UserDefaults
- Music generation requests — only a style descriptor (e.g. “ambient”) is sent to a third-party API; no personal data is included
- Camera & microphone — accessed only for recording; content stays on your device
- Photo library — accessed only to import/export video; never uploaded to our servers
We do not collect: email addresses, location data, device identifiers, browsing history, biometric data, financial information, or health data.
3.How We Use Your Information
We use information solely to:
- Provide core app functionality (recording, editing, exporting)
- Store your projects and preferences locally on your device
- Generate background music via third-party API
- Process subscription purchases through Apple App Store
- Maintain and improve the Application
- Comply with legal obligations
We will never use your information for targeted advertising, sale to third parties, or profiling.
4.Data Storage & Security
All your content — videos, recordings, profiles, and project data — is stored exclusively on your device. We do not operate databases containing your personal content.
Security measures include HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data transmission and regular code security reviews. Since data lives on your device, you have full control: delete projects in the app, or remove the app entirely to clear all data.
5.Third-Party Services
- Apple App Store & StoreKit — handles all subscription payments. We never receive or store payment information. Apple Privacy Policy
- Music API Provider — receives only a style descriptor for music generation; no personal information

We do not sell, trade, or transfer your information to third parties beyond what is described above.
6.Children’s Privacy
The Application is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has used the Application, contact us at [email protected].
7.Your Privacy Rights
- Australian users — under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) you have the right to access, correct, and lodge complaints about your personal information with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
- European users (GDPR) — you additionally have the right to erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object to processing.
- California users (CCPA) — you have the right to know what is collected, request deletion, and opt out of sale. We do not sell personal information.

8.International Data Transfers
Data is processed primarily on your local device. Where transmitted to third-party services (such as music APIs), transfers may occur outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to ensure overseas recipients comply with the Australian Privacy Principles.
9.Push Notifications
The Application may request permission to send push notifications about subscription status or app updates. You may opt out at any time in your device Settings. We do not use push notifications for advertising.
10.Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the “Last Updated” date and providing notice within the Application. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
